Context: A 911 operator has a son with a prescription drug abuse problem, who accidentally hits a young girl with his car. When he dials 911, his mother happens to pick up as the operator, and fearing her son’s legal consequences, she urges him to flee the scene before police and medics arrive. Reluctantly, he does flee, but shortly after, when his conscience weighs heavy, he decides to return to the scene and take responsibility. The clip begins with his return. (Note: the mother is responsible for saving/backing up the call log for that day.)
